Statement of Faith

At Shepherd Project, our work flows from deeply held biblical convictions. We affirm the historic Christian faith as revealed in Scripture:

1. The Word of God
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, life, and ministry.

2. The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is sovereign over all things and worthy of all worship, glory, and obedience.

3. Humanity and Sin
We believe that all people are created in the image of God and therefore possess inherent dignity and worth. Yet, through Adam’s fall, all humanity is sinful by nature and by choice, separated from God and in need of redemption.

4. Marriage and Sexuality
We believe that God created human beings in His image as male and female, equal in dignity and worth. We believe that marriage is a covenant established by God between one man and one woman. We also believe that God’s design for human flourishing includes faithfulness within marriage and purity outside of it. With humility, we seek to live in alignment with God’s good and loving purposes for our lives.

5. Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life. Through His substitutionary death on the cross and His bodily resurrection, He accomplished redemption for sinners.

6. Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Those who repent and trust in Jesus Christ are forgiven, declared righteous, and adopted as children of God—not because of works, but because of God’s mercy.

7. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, and sanctifies believers, empowering them to live godly lives and to bear witness to the gospel.

8. The Church
We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The Church is called to worship God, make disciples, care for the needy, and proclaim the gospel to all nations.

9. The Mission of God
We believe God’s mission is to glorify Himself by redeeming a people from every tribe, tongue, and nation. We are called to participate in this mission through evangelism, discipleship, and acts of mercy.

10. The Return of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead and to establish the fullness of His kingdom forever.

Closing
These truths shape everything we do—from how we invest in leaders to how we serve communities—so that Christ is made known and glorified among the nations.
